How long have you been in Japan, in what season & which parts of it did you visit ? Think it's mostly a matter of money to get there, starting with the flight tickets, hotel etc. Sorry for all these questions :s

I visited there when I was 20 I had a friend from school (in the UK) that was from Osaka, I stayed with him and his family for nearly a month.I was lucky in that regard, I had to pay for very little. My visit was in the early summer. Money is the main obstacle with most things but be determined to make it happen.. it is worth it for sure.

It was such a culture shock for me that most of the trip has been ingrained into my memory and I can remember even things like the smells of certain places and the taste of certain things like it was yesterday.
