Kids now have no idea the level of exposure this game introduced to kids in the ’90s.  Zombies weren’t even talked about then of in the public eye.  I mean, the last thing with zombies in it was Zombies Ate My Neighbors and the Return of the Living Dead movies from the 80’s.. which unless you’re parents were incredibly irresponsible  you wouldn’t have watched yet.  I remember the cold emptiness pinging deep inside when my 8th grade self was thrown into this life or death situation.

That comment just greatly annoys me. I guess I can agree with the rest of it, but back off with your closed-minded, absolutely ungrounded judgement. I’ve been watching horror movies not exactly age appropriate since I was young, as well as playing games well above my age group. My Dad let me because he knew I had the ability to understand and comprehend the things in front of me without letting it warp my sense of reality. My Dad is far from irresponsible.
